LG merilis smartphone terbaru mereka.

Smartphone kali ini berbeda dengan smartphone yang sebelum-seblumnya yang pernah mereka buat.

Smartphone kali ini terbilang sangat unik dan menarik. 

Smartphone yang didesain melengkung bagaikan gelombang ombak ini dinamakan G Flex .

G Flex sendiri mirip dengan smartphone rival tetangganya yaitu Samsung Galaxy Round , walaupun mirip akan tetapi mereka tidak sama. 

G Flex yang mengadopsi layar melengkung juga dilengkapi dengan fitur Self Healing dibagian cover belakangnya.

Fitur ini sangat lah unik, kenapa fitur ini sangatlah unik ?

Itu dikarenakan fitur ini dapat memulihkan keadaan cover belakang yang tergores akibat benda tajam maupun benda lainnya.
Dalam hitungan menit fitur yang dirancang menggunakan teknologi yang canggih dan unik ini dapat memulihkan goresan yang terdapat di cover belakang ponsel tersebut.

G Flex sendiri dilengkapi dengan layar 6 inch 720p dengan OLED display serta menggunakan prosesor Snapdragon 800 dan RAM sebesar 2GB.

Selain itu G Flex juga dilengkapi kamera 13 megapixel dibagian belakangnya.

Carphone Warehouse memperkenalkan sebuah ponsel paling murah dengan harga 99 pence atau sekitar Rp 14.254. Ponsel dengan merek Alcatel OT-209 ini memiliki tampilan seperti telepon genggam pada umumnya.

"Ini adalah ponsel termurah yang pernah ada," kata Charles Dunstone, pendiri Carphone Warehouse seperti dikutip Telegraph, hari ini. Dunstone mengatakan, ponsel ini menjadi pendobrak stigma bahwa ponsel itu adalah barang mewah.

Pertama kali diperkenalkan pada era 1980-an, telepon selular atau handphone ketika itu menjadi barang berteknologi tinggi dan mahal. Meskipun bentuknya masih seukuran 'batu bata' dan biaya operasional yang tinggi, ponsel menjadi ciri khas orang kaya pada masa itu.

Ponsel Alcatel OT-209 memang dirancang untuk mengerjalan tugas handphone pada umumnya, yakni untuk aktivitas panggilan dan pesan singkat. Tidak ada akses ke internet atau kamera. "Tidak semua orang butuh itu," kata Dunstone.

Ponsel yang bobotnya hanya 65 gram ini dilengkapi dengan handsfree, daya tahan baterai hingga lima jam waktu bicara non-stop dan 400 jam stand-by. Di dalamnya, Carphone juga telah membenamkan fitur radio dan mobile game.
